Background
The client approached us with a vision to build a comprehensive marketplace platform that would initially serve the South African market while providing a solid foundation for future international expansion. Given the platform’s broad functionality and numerous third-party integrations, defining precise requirements at the outset was a complex task, which our team successfully navigated through careful planning and discovery.
Our primary goal was to create a scalable, intuitive, and high-performance platform capable of evolving from a regional service into a globally recognized marketplace. At the same time, we needed to balance ambitious business goals with strict budget constraints while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
Throughout the development process, we addressed a range of technical challenges, including the implementation of a secure payment infrastructure supporting multiple currencies and cross-border transactions. We also integrated leading payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal to ensure seamless financial operations. In addition, we coordinated the work of a distributed team across frontend, backend, and UX disciplines, ensuring all components were developed cohesively and delivered a consistent user experience.

Our goal was to set up a reliable white-label crypto exchange solution for the client, enabling them to launch their own platform quickly. The platform had to support real-time trading with live price updates and automated liquidity management tools, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions.
We also had to address security concerns, ensuring secure storage for cryptocurrency and safeguarding both user data and funds. Integrations with third-party services were essential for adding the necessary functionality and making the platform user-friendly. Additionally, we ensured a seamless transition by delivering the finished solution to the client side, training their team to work with the product, and providing ongoing support during the platform’s launch.

Solution
We setup a robust, cost-effective white-label crypto exchange solution with all the essential functionalities for a successful crypto platform launch.
Security was a top priority, so they have chosen our solution robust security features, including KYC through SumSub, DDoS protection, and secure cryptocurrency storage, to protect user data and funds. To enhance the platform’s functionality, we chose Fireblocks for asset custody, Huobi, and B2C2 for liquidity, TradingView for advanced charting, and SendGrid for notifications.
The client had difficulty finding a reliable solution with source code, as many providers offered either high-cost or low-quality options. Our solution, built on a Node.js microservice architecture, was both affordable and high-performance, capable of handling up to 10,000 transactions per second.
