The Poof app project was a crucial component in the Poof ecosystem, which aims to transform Canada's CBD market. The client turned to us to create a solution that would stand out amidst the competition and satisfy the needs of iOS and Android users. Our task was to address the challenges of poor code quality and its compliance with regulations governing payment processing and data security.

It was also important to integrate modern payment solutions to facilitate financial transactions and make customers' purchasing experience comfortable. Moreover, our team had to create an attractive and eye-catching UX/UI design that engaged the users.

What was done

Our team has successfully overcome the regulatory complexities of the Canadian CBD industry. We meticulously navigated legal frameworks and maintained a delicate balance between addressing client needs and strictly adhering to evolving regulatory standards.

Leveraging Laravel and Redux with React Native for mobile ensured reliability and rapid deployment of Poof. Using this robust tech stack, we reduced the cost by more than twice compared with the development from scratch! We also integrated payment gateways like SkyFlow, Moneris, Mercco, Cova, Greenline, and Apple Pay to facilitate transactions and ensure security.

The project, spanning three months, showcased our expertise in overcoming technical hurdles while delivering a feature-rich mobile solution compliant with regulations. It empowered our client to capitalize on the burgeoning opportunities in Canada's CBD market.
