Background

The client came to us with the request to craft a modern and robust platform that delves into the historical payment patterns of potential customers. The idea was to empower businesses with valuable insights into the timeliness of bill payments, drawing on the collective experiences of diverse vendors.

The primary goal was to redesign the current website, introducing enhancements to its interface and functionality. Also, it was extremely important to make the solution extra-secure regarding such a comprehensive and big database of clients’ information. Furthermore, we had to speed up all the processes on the platform.

What we had to do

We initiated a transformative process, engaging in a thorough redesign of the current SaaS platform. Aiming for a seamless user experience, the focus was on refining the platform's interface to ensure simplicity, modernity, and intuitiveness. Thereby, we elevated the overall usability for users.

The improvements spanned both the frontend and backend of the system, showing our holistic approach to modernization. At the same time, we kept the previous database.

The design overhaul incorporated contemporary principles, resulting in a platform that resonates with a modern, straightforward, and intuitive aesthetic, aligning with cutting-edge functionality.

Central to the project's priorities was the unwavering commitment to fortifying the system's security. Rigorous measures were implemented to safeguard user data and sensitive information, reinforcing the platform against potential threats. By deploying advanced security protocols, we aimed to instill a profound sense of confidence in the reliability of Riabu.

What was done

The project involved a near-total reconstruction, undertaken essentially from the ground up. Our primary objective centered on redeveloping the product while preserving the existing database structure. To expedite the process and provide flexibility for the client to engage their own team if necessary, we transitioned from pure PHP to Laravel. This decision was made to speed up the development processes.

In selecting React as the frontend framework, speed and performance were also the driving factors. Recognized for its rapid rendering capabilities and overall performance, React became the natural choice to ensure a responsive and seamless user experience on the frontend. This strategic technology stack transition was pivotal in achieving both the speed and performance goals set for the project.

Riabu underwent a comprehensive transformation, starting with a complex UX/UI redesign facilitated by us with Figma. We optimized visual elements for enhanced user interactions to improve conversion rates. An innovative advising system was introduced, offering personalized insights to users. Stripe integration enhanced payment capabilities. React.js was used to optimize platform speed, delivering a smoother user experience. Xero integration expanded financial tools, streamlining accounting processes. The inclusion of Singpass fortified authentication provides Singapore residents with secure access to diverse services.

Made complex UX/UI redesign

The redesign process commenced with a meticulous exploration and transformation of the platform's interface using Figma. We delved into the intricacies of user interactions, ensuring that every visual element and layout was not just visually appealing but also optimized for a seamless and engaging user experience. Thanks to the redesign of Riabu, we enhanced conversion rates.

Implemented advising system

Our innovative approach to the implementation of the advising system went beyond conventional features. We introduced a dynamic advising mechanism that provided users with personalized insights and recommendations tailored to their unique needs. This interactive advisory experience elevated user engagement, setting the platform apart with its commitment to delivering tailored guidance and valuable insights.

Integrated Stripe

The strategic integration of Stripe brought a new level of sophistication to Riabu’s payment capabilities. By seamlessly incorporating Stripe, a renowned payment processing solution, we not only streamlined payment processes but also established a secure and efficient transaction environment. Users benefited from the reliability and familiarity of a widely used payment gateway, reinforcing trust in the platform's financial transactions.

Improved load speed with React.js

To optimize the overall performance of the platform, we made a strategic decision to harness the power of React.js. This implementation was aimed at enhancing the platform's load speed, ensuring a swift and responsive user experience. Leveraging the efficiency of React.js in building high-performance user interfaces, we significantly improved the responsiveness of the platform.

Integrated Xero

The integration of Xero added a new dimension to our financial capabilities. By seamlessly incorporating Xero's robust accounting functionalities, we enhanced the platform's financial management tools. This integration streamlined accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in managing financial transactions, invoices, and other critical financial aspects within the platform.

Added Singpass

Singpass stands as the go-to digital identity for Singapore residents, offering a reliable and secure gateway to access over 2,000 online and in-person services provided by both government and private sector entities. The strategic inclusion of Singpass fortified the platform's user verification capabilities and introduced an additional layer of security to the user authentication process.
