Background
The project's genesis stemmed from the vision of providing users with a consolidated platform to monitor their finances originating from diverse sources.
The primary objective was to develop an application capable of seamlessly tracking exchange rates across cryptocurrencies, stocks, companies, and personal banking. This all-encompassing platform should empower users to exercise control over their personal finances while concurrently monitoring the investment potential across various financial domains.
The main task was to deliver a finance-tracking mobile application swiftly and efficiently, all while adhering to a stringent budget.
Tasks and challenges
The Peiko team encountered a multifaceted challenge: to swiftly develop a high-performance mobile application that seamlessly operated on both iOS and Android platforms. The mission extended beyond mere development; it encompassed the integration of diverse API services, stitching together a cohesive system that covered three pivotal branches of finance: cryptocurrencies, stocks, and banking.
Our directive was clear: craft a quality application that not only met the client's vision but also adhered to the budget frames. The Zoobdoo project demanded a harmonious fusion of speed, cross-platform compatibility, API integration, and financial expertise. Building Zoobdoo, we established a secure and seamless connection through advanced encryption protocols. The process of linking bank accounts within the app underlines our commitment to confidentiality and data integrity. However, Zoobdoo goes beyond the ordinary secure financial app by incorporating an extensive array of assets. This expansive coverage ensures that users remain well-informed of a diverse array of investment opportunities.
Furthermore, this modern mobile app provides sophisticated tools for income and loss calculation within user-created portfolios. So, users gain the ability to gauge the profitability of their investments, facilitating informed decision-making and strategic adjustments.
Also, we integrated the Plaid API and iEx API, which enhance Zoobdoo's functionality, transforming the app into a comprehensive financial hub.
