Background

The client approached us with a multifaceted request involving two distinct phases. Our task was to conduct a comprehensive code audit to assess the product's current state, identify completed features, and pinpoint areas requiring improvement.

After the completion of this audit and the subsequent optimization and refactoring of the existing product, we had to embark on a new venture: the development of a new platform named RedLeo.

The aim of RedLeo was to address the need for secure and flexible card management solutions, making it suitable for organizations that require detailed control over card issuance and user access.

What we had to do

The initial challenge was to evaluate thoroughly and enhance the existing codebase. We had to conduct a code audit and improve both the performance and stability of the existing platform, LeoSpot Finance.

Another goal was to develop an all-in-one finance web application that allows users to create and manage credit cards. We had to craft the project from scratch and provide efficient quality assurance. The creation of UX/UI design was on the client’s side from the beginning, but then, our web app and marketplace development company was involved in the process of creating user-friendly interface designs.

One of the essential aspects of the RedLeo project was implementing a system for the smooth creation, management, and tracking of credit cards. We also had to create a highly flexible access management framework with detailed customization options. We did everything in the best possible way for this project as well as for all the others we worked with.

What was done

Developing the RedLeo platform from scratch involved designing a sophisticated web application that facilitates the creation and management of credit cards. The result was a highly efficient and user-friendly application that streamlined the process of issuing and handling credit cards. By leveraging a robust tech stack, including PHP (Laravel) for backend operations and React.js for frontend development, we ensured that the application was not only functional but also scalable and capable of handling high volumes of transactions.

The application supports various card management features such as issuance, tracking, and updates, all integrated seamlessly into the user interface.

In summary, the client received a powerful and efficient web application tailored to their needs, complete with a customizable access management system and essential integrations.

The plan executed

The implementation plan involved several key steps. We began with a thorough code review and optimization of the existing platform. Also, we designed and developed the RedLeo web platform from scratch, ensuring it met all outlined requirements. We integrated necessary services and tools to provide comprehensive functionality. For example, we integrated Weavr service for reliable card management and implemented a fully customizable access management system. It was also essential to ensure the high security of all sensitive financial data, and we succeded with this. Furthermore, our team was involved in the process of creating user-friendly interface designs. Continuous testing and refinement were carried out to maintain high quality and performance throughout the development process.

Integrated with Weavr service

One of the key components of the RedLeo platform was its integration with the Weavr API. This integration was crucial to ensure that all credit card-related functionalities, such as card creation, monitoring, and updates, are handled smoothly and reliably. Moreover, integrating Weavr means that sensitive financial data is managed securely, adhering to regulations such as PCI-DSS (payment card industry data security standard).

Implemented cards management system

We added a sophisticated card management system within the RedLeo platform. This system was designed to handle various aspects of credit card management, including issuance, tracking, and administration. The card management features were integrated smoothly into the platform, ensuring that users could manage their cards with ease and efficiency.

Added mechanism for permissions management

The Peiko team has developed a customizable and flexible permissions system that allows organizations to define and manage user roles and access levels. This system enables enterprises to tailor permissions according to their specific requirements, providing a high level of control over user access.

Developed a user-friendly admin panel

Designing an admin panel that was both easy to navigate and manage was essential for effective platform oversight. We created an intuitive and user-friendly admin dashboard, which facilitated effective management and oversight of the platform's operations.

Created fee management service

Accurately handling and calculating service fees associated with card transactions and platform usage was crucial for the RedLeo project. We implemented functionality to manage and calculate service fees, ensuring that all financial aspects of the platform were handled efficiently.
