Background
The client came to us with the request to craft a modern and robust platform that delves into the historical payment patterns of potential customers. The idea was to empower businesses with valuable insights into the timeliness of bill payments, drawing on the collective experiences of diverse vendors.
The primary goal was to redesign the current website, introducing enhancements to its interface and functionality. Also, it was extremely important to make the solution extra-secure like Zoobdoo, regarding such a comprehensive and big database of clients’ information. Furthermore, we had to speed up all the processes on the platform.
Tasks and challenges
We initiated a transformative process, engaging in a thorough redesign of the current SaaS platform. Aiming for a seamless user experience, the focus was on refining the platform’s interface to ensure simplicity, modernity, and intuitiveness. Thereby, we elevated the overall usability for users.
The improvements spanned both the frontend and backend of the system, showing our holistic approach to modernization. At the same time, we kept the previous database.
The design overhaul incorporated contemporary principles, resulting in a platform that resonates with a modern, straightforward, and intuitive aesthetic, aligning with cutting-edge functionality.

Solution
The project required a near-complete rebuild from the ground up, while still preserving the existing database structure. Our main objective was to modernize the product architecture without disrupting existing data or core business operations.
To accelerate development and give the client flexibility to scale with their own team in the future, we transitioned the backend from pure PHP to Laravel. This shift significantly improved development speed, maintainability, and long-term extensibility.
For the frontend, we chose React due to its performance and efficiency in building dynamic user interfaces. Its fast rendering capabilities allowed us to deliver a smooth, responsive user experience while keeping the interface scalable and easy to maintain.
This strategic technology stack upgrade played a key role in achieving both performance and delivery speed goals, while laying a solid foundation for future product growth.
